TIP 1: SELECTION OF INSTALLATION LOCATION

Indoor Unit

-Air circulation: It should be installed at a position where the air can circulate throughout the room, avoiding the air outlet directly facing areas such as beds and sofas where people stay for a long time.

-Distance from the ceiling: At least 6 inches (0.5 feet) from the ceiling to ensure smooth return air.

-Ground height: Usually installed at a high place, but it is necessary to ensure that it can be reached during maintenance and cleaning.

-Horizontal installation: A level must be used to ensure absolute levelness; otherwise, it will cause poor drainage of condensate water, leading to leakage.

-Stay away from heat sources and steam: Keep away from heat sources such as lamps and stoves.

Outdoor Unit

-Stability and load-bearing capacity: It must be installed on a solid load-bearing wall or a reinforced platform. Concrete walls and solid brick walls are ideal choices.

-Good ventilation: Leave sufficient space in front, back, left and right (usually more than 0.5 ft from the wall at the back, more than 1 ft from the left and right sides, and more than 6.5 ft from the front air outlet) to ensure heat dissipation effect. Poor heat dissipation can lead to a sharp decline in efficiency and an increase in power consumption.

-Avoid direct sunlight and rain (as appropriate) : If conditions permit, a sunshade can be installed to prevent direct sunlight, but it must not affect ventilation.

-Noise consideration: The outdoor unit generates noise during operation. It is advisable to avoid having its air outlet directly facing a neighbor's window or rest area.

-Easy to maintain: The installation location should enable maintenance personnel to carry out maintenance safely and conveniently.
